Knee Pain

Knee Pain

Knee injuries may arise from traumatic injuries affecting the ligaments, tendons, cartilage or bone or repetitve strain injuries which may involve the tendons and teno-osseus junctions. As such there are many causes of knee pain and, as with all joint problems, accurate diagnosis is essential.

There are occasions when knee pain is caused by damage to specific structures such as the cartilage or ligaments and may need surgical treatment.  We work closely with expert surgeons in the area and following any surgical procedure we work closely with the surgeon and yourself to ensure a quick recovery.

Of course many causes of knee pain do not require surgery, and this is where expert diagnosis and effective management is crucial.
