Shoulder Pain

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain and injury is common and can be caused by overuse, trauma or long standing problems.

Early treatment is important since accurate diagnosis is essential in ensuring effective management. North Lakes physiotherapists are not only trained in courses such as orthopaedic medicine and attended shoulder injury courses but have qualifications in strength and conditioning training, which we believe is invaluable.

Very often shoulder pain can be caused by a lack of activation and lack of strength from muscles surrounding the shoulder joint.  Our aim with our strength and conditioning experience is to teach correct muscle use and build the correct stabilising muscles to restore normal movement, alleviate your pain and return you to full function.
