COVID-19 Information
Open for face to face appointments
Following recently updated guidance (12th May 2020) from NHS England and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy we are pleased to announce that we shall be able to offer ‘face to face’ (F2F) consultations, where clinically appropriate and necessary, from Monday 6th July 2020 at selected times.
We continue to offer remote sessions in the first instance and following a brief remote consultation to consider your needs, we can determine the most effective care plan including offering a face to face appointment if deemed appropriate and screen for any additional risk factors.
Prior to the F2F appointment you will be sent a Covid-19 screening and consent form to be returned prior to the appointment.
After the initial F2F consultation it will be agreed between the patient and therapist whether future treatment sessions can be delivered remotely or will be a need for ongoing face to face sessions

Please do not attend the clinic if you or anyone you have had contact with have symptoms of Covid-19 - the safety of our staff and patients is our primary concern.
All staff and patients will be temperature checked on entering the clinic and advised not to enter if their temperature is greater than 37.8
Please attend the clinic alone. We ask that you wait in your car until you receive a text to enter the building /clinic.
All staff are required to wear PPE: face mask, visor, gloves and apron. Staff will wash their hands before and after each patient.
We ask that the patient wears a face mask and to ideally bring your own but we can provide these.
On arrival we will ask you to use the hand sanitizer provided or you may wash your hands if you prefer.
A 2m distance will be maintained throughout the appointment. If an assessment or treatment aspect requires less than 2m this will be agreed upon with your physio.
The clinic room will have the widows open throughout. We request any touching of surfaces/equipment to be kept to a minimum.
The plinth and pillow (if used) are wipeable and will be thoroughly cleaned following each appointment as will the work surfaces.
15 minutes between patients will be allowed to provide for this and for the change of PPE.
Payment will be by bank transfer, no cash.
A further screening process will take place at the start of the appointment.
We can guarantee you these measures will not affect your standard of care.
