The most recent NICE guidelines recommend supervised pelvic floor muscle training of at least three months’ duration as first-line treatment to women with stress or mixed urinary incontinence. Regaining control of your bladder can improve your confidence and allow you to return to exercise to maintain/improve your overall physical and mental health.
